June 2, 2012 – LAGOP Convention – Shreveport

These clips accurately depict the Electoral College Process which is part of the US Constitution, as it is available ONLY in a Republic….and follows Robert’s Rules of Order. It was established and is protected by the 12th Amendment of 1804.
And everyone in the GOP who is mad at the legitimate process used by Ron Paul’s people….want a REPUBLIC which goes by rules …when THEY WIN… BUT… they want a DEMOCRACY which goes by majority without rules….when THEY LOSE…!!
The complainers in the Republican Party, with their namesake, need to learn and go by the rules in a Republican form of government…!!!

LAGOP 2012 Convention – Third Chair takes the floor after second Chair is violently attacked !!!!!!! Due to popular demand for a description, the first chair was voted out for the usual establishment corruption, specifically, not recognizing the duly elected rules committee chair. This man was escorted out by police also, though I think charges were not pressed. His finger was injured, on another video, not on this channel. That started the motion to remove the first chair, seconded, and overwhelmingly approved by the majority (RonPaul side). The first chair refused to acknowledge any of this, and in the mean time, Ron Paul delegates reversed their seats and proceeded to hold their own convention, with the majority of delegates present. The first chair (in the blue shirt) that we elected for the Ron Paul side was not allowed to use his sound system, by the previous chair, who had been voted out. The police came to remove our chair from the back of the room, and he wound up on the floor. They later gave him a citation of arrest of some sort at the hospital (most likely a CYA since he had been injured). We shortly elected a third chair and proceeded, even before our second chair was escorted on a stretcher, while the demoted chair attempted to continue a rump convention behind us, with their mikes on, not allowing us a mike. Which we did not need, because when we voted the AYYYES loudly with each motion. They attempted to ask us to ‘rejoin the convention’, turn our chairs around, and stop making a confusion in the back, restore order and so forth. We adjourned before them, and when we left, the convention was over, because we only left behind a scraggly crew of their attempt at a meeting without us. A little symbolic isnt it?

The Dead Pelican
June 01, 2012–9:46 PM CDT
Note:THE DEAD PELICAN has been tirelessly following the antics of today’s Louisiana state Republican Convention. For an insider’s perspective and a first- person account of what happened, we tracked down Mr. Jason Stern, a Delegate from Congressional District 6. The following is Mr. Stern’s recollection of the day’s events.
Background: At the Louisiana Presidential Caucus in April, Ron Paul (whether you like him or not) won over two thirds of the delegates to the Republican State Convention.Generally speaking, the majority at a convention is expected to govern the convention and select the delegates who will attend the national convention. One day before the convention, the executive committee of the Republican Party of Louisiana sent out an email communication to delegates stating that “temporary rules” would be used for the convention. Theses new rules, un-ratified by the Louisiana Republican State Central Committee, placed incredible restrictions on the convention, including the following:
  • The Rules committee would not be allowed to create Rules for the convention (their entire purpose for existence)
  • The Platform committee would not be allowed to operate under the May 2011 adopted rules for the convention; only the “temporary” rules would be allowed.
  • The quorum for the convention would only be 30% of the delegates (Note: the State Central Committee requires that “a majority of the elected Members shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. RSCC Bylaws Art VIII. Sect. 3)
  • 2012 Rules for the Caucus and Convention had been adopted by the State Central Committee on May 21st, 2011. These are still online unless they have been taken down. These rules, duly adopted, would now not be used.
  • The RSCC members were not privy to the issuance of the last minute May 30th “temporary” rules.
  • The party chairman, rather than an elected convention chairman, would run the convention.
  • Delegates were asked to sign potentially-illegal affidavits issued under the “temporary” rules.
  • Irony: When the RSCC met in the afternoon following the convention, a quorum was not present, so they were unable to conduct business! The “temporary” rules could not even be debated.
Here is what I witnessed today as a delegate to the Louisiana State Republican Convention.
The state convention was opened by Louisiana Republican State Central Committee Chairman Mr. Roger Villere who announced that the convention would be operated under (last minute, unratified) rules that gave the executive committee nearly unlimited powers. He then announced that he was assuming the chair and leadership of the convention and appointed officers.
At this point, three duly-elected delegates rose, in turn, to deliver “points of order” on this announcement, asking to receive clarification on this unexpected and unusual set of changes.
Mr. Villere addressed two questions from the lectern (one was affirming that the quorum for the convention had been changed to one third of members present), but chose to ignore further requests of the delegates.
According to Roberts Rules of Order, a chairman may only ignore three requests of a member before the elected body may choose to remove him. [See New Roberts Rules of Order,11th Edition, Provision for Abuse of Authority by the Chair §62 (new) p. 650-651]
Continuing to ignore delegate requests, Mr. Villere then called for the report of the Rules Committee. Mr. Alex Helwig, the elected chair* of the Rules Committee rose from his seat in the delegate section and approached to deliver his report. Mr. Villere improperly called him out of order and had this gentleman forcibly removed from the convention and arrested (during this false arrest, the police officers broke his finger and injured his leg).
At this point, due to the repeated abuses of the chairman, another delegate called to “declare the chair vacant and elect a new chair.†[See previous rule note] The motion was seconded. The delegates (numbering over 100) voted to remove Mr. Villere as chair. Parliamentary procedure was followed to the letter, though it was ignored from the platform.
As Mr. Villere refused to vacate the chair, over 100 delegates physically lifted their chairs and turned 180 degrees and began the process of electing a new convention chairman.
As the new chairman, Henry Herford, began to address the delegates, he was promptly assaulted by security (The officers were obviously confused when Mr. Villere called for the gentleman’s removal). The elderly gentleman was pushed to the ground and required medical attention at a local hospital.
The convention was continued despite Mr. Villere’s refusal to vacate and proceeded to elect the vice chair to assume the role of chair. Delegate (now Chair) Connie Barnard continued the order of business. Following the successfully concluded convention, delegates met to elect national delegates and were received warmly by the Romney state chairman.
*Alex Helwig, delegate from District 6, was elected by the members of the Rules Committee on Friday, June 1st at approximately 11:50 a.m. following the Rules Committee members’ removal of Mr. Scott Wilfong from the chairmanship. Mr. Wilfong, like Mr. Villere, refused to vacate his chair. for updates

LA Convention News this weekend

Sunday, June 3, 2012 7:34 AM
I just received this email from David Johnston who headed up our campaign in our district, and was there in Shreveport, attending the State Convention today.I wanted to email everyone directly after the convention while the events are all fresh in my mind. What follows is the series of events that lead to our victory.First: the Convention was called to order by Rodger V. the Chairman of the State Central Committee at 10:00 a.m. in Shreveport June 2nd 2012Second: when the Committee Reports were called and Alex Helwig, the duly elected Chairman (by 14 of 16 committee members of the Rules Committee offered his report .Rodger the chairman refused to recognize Alex and his report and instructed police and security to remove him from the convention room.

Third: Alex was roughly hauled away by state police and detained (but not booked) for the duration of the convention.

Forth: after Alex’s removal 3 points of order were refused by Rodger the (Convention Chairman) leaving the majority of the Delegation at the Convention no choice but to move to elect a new chairman.

Fifth: 100+ of the 160 Delegates present voted to remove Rodger as chairman of the convention.

Six: Henry H. was duly elected by the majority as the new Chairman.

Seven: Rodger then called on the police and security to remove Henry H. (a 70 year old retired teacher and elected official) from the convention.

In pulling and pushing Henry towards the door, the police injured Henry when he fell to the floor landing on his artificial hip and a stretcher had to be called and Henry was taken to the hospital and was charged by Police with refusing to leave the premises and resisting arrest. (Henry is now out of the hospital and planning on suing police for assault on an elected official, and Rodger the Chairman for his part).

Eight: after Henry was taken out on the stretcher, the majority continued and elected Connie the new Chairperson of the Convention, plus Hunter Simmons as Secretary. The minority attempted to block Hunters entrance to the convention, but security backed us up and removed those who were trying to stop him from entering.

Nine: the convention continued in this major with the majority addressing the business of receiving reports, electing the National Delegates and Adjourning the Convention by 10:45 a.m.

Ten: the minority of 40 Delegates continued their fantasy convention (which they had no quorum for as they needed 60 Delegates under their rules to conduct business) and concluded later in the day.

Eleven: Mean while the duly elected (by the Majority) Delegation to the National Convention met in a separate room which had been booked with the hotel ahead of time and they proceeded to elect officers to the National Delegation and Representatives to the Rules, Credentials and Platform Committees.

Twelve: The meeting was attended by the Head of the Romney Campaign (who is on both the Majority and Minority Delegation Slates) for Louisiana and he spoke to the group of National Delegates, affirming their position and their election to the National Convention.

Thirteen: All the officers of the National Convention were thanked and upon his return Alex (the detained Rules Committee Chairman) gave a passionate speech to the National Delegate group and he got a standing ovation from the Delegation.

Now the decision will go to the Republican National Committee, as both the minority and majority conventions will submit Delegate Slates to the RNC.

I hope these details give some insight into the events of the day, the events of yesterday at the committee meetings were about the same, two chairman (platform and rules) were removed for refusing to recognize the majority.

Ron Paul victories in states they were cheated out of beauty contest wins

To those that either were not paying attention while the beauty contests were plagued with blatant corruption or have such short memories that you would allow msm to spin the stories into a narrative that the Ron Paul campaign supposedly is cheating and stealing delegates, I would have to reply with…..”Nonsense”.

Between election fraud, bogus polls leading up to beauty contests, numerous straw poll victories by Ron Paul that were conveniently ignored and now convention shenanigans, it is extraordinary that Paul supporters are still the ones concerned with actually obeying the party rules.

The fact is that the Paul campaign’s big mistake throughout this process has been their confidence in being able to come back to the states they were initially cheated out of and pick-up the delegates anyway.  This confidence possibly was the contributing factor that caused them to not fight for the beauty contest wins and better expose the election fraud in the first place.  They should have fought for their rightful win in Iowa in which 9 precincts of votes which were believed to be Paul strongholds were thrown out of the permanent record of the vote and never counted.  Even without them, Paul was basically in a 3-way tie.  The vast majority of the entrance polls showed he should have had a decisive win.  Now, the fact that they did not fight for the states that were obviously corrupted is backfiring on them as they gather delegate wins by playing by the rules.  The chaos ensues in every case so far because of the Romney/Establishment loyalists breaking the rules and then Paul supporters trying to get them to obey the rules.  Yet they are being demonized because they did not win the beauty contests and reports are being spun that it is the Paul supporters that are supposedly causing the chaos.  That line of reporting is just simply not based on the facts.

Here’s the response from the City Manager of the City of Vista, CA in re renewal of ICLEI:

The City of Vista is currently a member of ICLEI and has been for more than three years.  As a result of being a member, ICLEI provided the City an Intern to work on the City’s Climate Action Plan mandated by the State of California.  The City has decided through the budget process that it will not budget the ICLEI Membership for next fiscal year.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.

About 17 members of Temecula Murrieta TEA Party met at a Mexican food restaurant in Murrieta Monday to discuss plans Temecula and Murrieta created that members believe are tied to UN-led plan called Agenda 21.

ANOTHER CITY Gives ICLEI the BOOT! COLLEGE STATION (TX) Joins the WALL of HONOR! Thank Councilman Fields for His VISION!

In great news, after a couple of setbacks for the anti-ICLEI fight, College Station Texas (home of Texas A&M University) voted not to renew their membership in the unconstitutional ICLEI!

MORE STATES RISE UP Against ICLEI and AGENDA 21! BOTH the TENNESSEE HOUSE and SENATE Have Anti-ICLEI and AGENDA 21 Bills in Committee!

We have the wonderful anti-ICLEI bill in NH and the Georgia Senate resolution that are pending in their respective state houses but this bill may be BEST of all:  HB 3571 and SB 3407, banning implementation of Agenda 21 and ICLEI in the Volunteer State.

It’s wonderful what is happening in America these days.  Before the Miracle of Carroll County where sustainability/Agenda 21 and ICLEI were EXPOSED as the threats to liberty, sovereignty and property rights, they laughed at the occasional activist who stood up for the right.  ICLEI’s not laughing now!

Here is one more example of the American people WISING UP to the threat of Agenda 21/ICLEI and the sustainability racket:  Senate RESOLUTION 730 in the State of Georgia:

NEW HAMPSHIRE May Be the FIRST STATE to BAN ICLEI! the RNC Resolution Has Also Spurred OTHER ACTION!

AN ACT prohibiting the state, counties, towns, and cities from implementing programs of, expending money for, receiving funding from, or contracting with the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives.

Now, James City County and Abingdon have already said NO to ICLEI.  That makes 5 communities out of 18 OUT!  Nearly ONE-THIRD!

Resolution Exposing United Nations Agenda 21

Below is a resolution UNANIMOUSLY passed by the Republican National Committee (RNC) Exposing the threat of the United Nations Agenda 21, including any of its polices operating under names like Sustainable Development, Smart Growth, Comprehensive Planning, Heritage Sites and many more masquerading under the “excuse” of “Green Initiatives” that violate the Constitutional rights of America citizens:

WHEREAS, this United Nations Agenda 21 plan of radical so-called “sustainable development” views the American way of life of private property ownership, single family homes, private car ownership and individual travel choices, and privately owned farms; all as destructive to the environment; and,

WHEREAS, according to the United Nations Agenda 21 policy, social justice is described as the right and opportunity of all people to benefit equally from the resources afforded us by society and the environment which would be accomplished by socialist/communist redistribution of wealth; and,

WHEREAS, according to the United Nations Agenda 21 policy National sovereignty is deemed a social injustice; now therefore be it

RESOLVED, the Republican National Committee recognizes the destructive and insidious nature of United Nations Agenda 21 and hereby exposes to the public and public policy makers the dangerous intent of the plan; and therefore be it further
